Katie Kormann has found her dream job working as a Multimedia Producer at Fox 2 and News 11 in St. Louis. She gets the best of both worlds as a producer and reporter for the station.

Katie previously worked as a Reporter at KFSM-TV in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She began her television news career as a News Writer for WGN-TV in Chicago.

A native of the Chicagoland area, Katie is an alumna of Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights. She graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a double major in Communication and Psychology and a minor in Organizational Leadership & Supervision.

Katie earned her M.A. in Journalism from DePaul University. While at DePaul, she was a reporter and anchor for Good Day DePaul (the student run news program) and contributed stories for the DePaulia (the campus newspaper).

While in graduate school, Katie received press credentials to cover the NATO Summit at McCormick Place in Chicago. She had the opportunity to attend press conferences with President Barak Obama, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

Katie likes to travel, spend time with family and friends, take long walks with her dogs, hike, practice yoga, attend concerts, read, write and volunteer. She loves to learn and is always on a quest to try new things.
